DANIEL VASQUEZ

Daniel Vazquez is a recognized professional with broad experience in regulatory affairs for clinical research and pharmaceutical-marketed products. After a couple of years in J&J as a quality assurance auditor, Daniel joined IQVIA (formerly Quintiles) in 1998 to create the regulatory department supporting activities in Latin America, he was responsible for the regulatory operations with staff based in several countries of the region supporting the expansion of the company in Latin America.

After 20 years of leading and supporting different business units, he founded eHealth Solutions, a company that provides advising and services to Pharma companies and Academia.

During his career, he was the founder and twice president of the Association of Contract Research Organizations (ACRO) collaborating with policymakers and Governmental bodies to enhance the R&D activities in the region.

He performed several podium presentations and was Chairman of Government Authorities’ presentations at Congresses, Daniel also conducted training at Universities and Institutions.

He provided development programs and product registry advising as well as helped mid-pharma and biotech companies to establish operations in the Latin America region.

Daniel regularly kept interactions with Investigators, Key Opinion Leaders and National Coordinators, Association of Investigators, Institutions, Patient Associations, Site Management Organizations, Private and Governmental Agencies such as Ministries of Health, National Drug Agencies, Customs, Ministries of Science and Technology, National Department of Foreign Trade, US FDA, etc.

He joined the Virtus advisory team a couple of years ago to support the company in the expansion of the pharmaceutical business.
